Honouring Heroes by Empowering Families The Zimbabwe Association for Widows of National Heroes (ZAWINAH) is committed to improving the welfare of widows of National Heroes and preserving Zimbabwe's liberation heritage. The organisation promotes access to healthcare, education, livelihoods and social protection while supporting vulnerable children and grandchildren through scholarships, mentorship and welfare programmes. ZAWINAH also empowers widows through entrepreneurship and income-generating initiatives, fostering self-reliance and dignity.
